Hired a weekend van to help our daughter move into her first home. The staff in the office were very helpful and very friendly whilst sorting out the paperwork. They had also clarified our questions clearly on the phone prior to booking on the internet. The weekend price was very competitive with a discount for internet booking, and thankfully it included all insurances. When the van had a puncture on Sunday afternoon, it only needed one phone call to the office to sort things out, so we were grateful for the backup provided, even at the weekend.

The van was new (2016) clean and well maintained. Everything was explained well and all the staff could not have been more helpful.

Hide a van for the day to pick up a motorbike when I arrived the manager had remembered that I was hiring van to collect a motorbike, he had upgraded the van free of charge to a bigger Mercedes van rather than a short wheelbase transit. The van was new clean and tidy and had cruise control which was great for the 400 mile journey. And to top it off he also lent me a motorcycle ramp which fitted perfectly into the back of the van so I can get my bike in and out safely even the straps to tie down the motorbike. I rented from Afford Rent-A-Car in October 2016. Their service was extremely fast, their staff were a dream to work with and we have only good things to say about them. We got an everything in rate including insurance and the car worked perfectly. We had our car for 21 days and when we dropped it off it took one signature and I was in and out in under 3 minutes. I'll go back to Afford when I come to England again.
