Use Deans for decades now but service standards have dropped alarmingly.
Phoned this morning to be picked up from airport and operator could hardly string a coherent sentence together and very abrupt.
Received message saying taxi arrived but he wasn’t there! Eventually he rang me on WhatsApp saying he’s been waiting (wrong car park!) and phones me 6 times!
Cut long story short, the ‘nearby taxi’ adds extra cost to fair for his mistake and again abrupt and disappointing attitude.
First time in years I didn’t leave a tip and won’t use these again for sure.

Ordered a taxi on a Sunday morning at 10 am for a 1 o clock pick up . They messaged us at 1 saying it would be 25 minutes . We cancelled and got an uber . Awful service . Can’t be late for the airport !

While abroad I rang my Daughter to book a deans taxi for our return on the 24th of April for a approx 9.20pm when my confirmation txt came it read the 25th I contacted my daughter and she rand deans again they admitted it was there fault but it would be changed to the 24th the confirmation txt then read the 23rd I rang them myself and was told it was most definetly booked for the 24th we landed on time got our cases and rang deans only to be told the booking was made but they had no taxi available this is an appalling service and dean dean taxis have lost not only my custom by my complete family members absolutely disgrace treating people in this way

Pre ordered taxi for pick up at Newcastle airport. Flight delayed 1 hour but as they are supposed to track flights thought no problem, got luggage and phoned was told taxi was despatched when we tracked he was at least 20mins away, this was at 5am stood in the cold and rain with 2 children, one who is autistic. When the driver arrived he informed us he hadn’t been pre booked but just given the job after I phoned. Telephoned the next day to raise a complaint and was told management would ring back. They never did. Terrible service. Will use someone else in the future.
